Because we are an ALL-VOLUNTEER OPERATION, any donation you make comes right back at you via investments in our facilities – as well as our continued promise to keep ticket prices low.

If you’ve never given to Dog Story before, we have a wonderful matching grant from the Frey Foundation that will match your gift, dollar for dollar, for new donors of $100 or less! Whether you joined us for a Comedy Monday or Pigeon Creek Shakespeare, for a play like “My Dearest Friend” or a Sarah Jean Anderson show, you probably noticed at least one of these improvements in comfort and convenience, made possible by donors like you!

We are paying for a retractable projection screen that allows more creative options for performers. We are working on improving our basement space for rehearsals and workshops. And, as the neighborhood has become increasingly desirable, we are dealing with higher rents.

If you’ve given us your mailing address you should be receiving a hard copy of this as well but we wanted to make sure you had all the info using as many methods as possible without one of us actually coming to your house!

CSIGRPDSVU – A 2-man improvised crime drama! “In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the police, who investigate crime; and the district attorneys, who prosecute the offenders. For Better or Worse, these are their stories!” – FEATURING Andy Allen and Ben Wilke

Cabbie - This improvised show follows one cab driver through a night full of pick ups and let downs featuring members of River City Improv, Pop Scholars, Fishschtick, Calvin Improv and Comedy Monday regulars.

Dread Pirate Improv – This group has been killing it at City High and we’re happy to have them bring their show to Dog Story!

Every Monday night from 8-11pm,”Comedy Mondays” features shows at 8pm and 9pm and a completely FREE open-improv jam at 10pm where anyone can join in or hang out for some late night laughs! Tickets are now just $5 for an all-night pass. You can spend the extra $2 on our new concessions!!!
